The Footwear Design and Development Centre (FDDC), Kozhikode is an organization established to promote quality, productivity, technology, training, research, and welfare in the footwear manufacturing sector across India. The Centre is dedicated to empowering footwear manufacturers, workers, students, entrepreneurs, and associated communities by providing technical support, quality testing facilities, skill development programs, consultancy services, and welfare initiatives. Through innovation, collaboration, and industry-oriented development, the Centre aims to strengthen the footwear industry while improving the social and economic well-being of people connected with the sector. The benefits and services of the Centre are open to all persons irrespective of caste, religion, creed, gender, or community.
